This clip doesn’t actually affect people’s phones, only the TikTok app. Manipulates the user interface in ways not yet discovered to prevent users from scrolling to your page.

Noah isn’t quite sure yet how he could ban this person from scrolling past the video, but he has a few theories.
He said he believed it had something to do with either the audio or images used in the clip.
Noah tested the audio theory by using the same audio in an instructional video, and said that if the audio was the culprit, users would also be unable to scroll past this video.
“But if you can scroll past this video, the photos used in the video must have been manipulated in some way,” he said, adding that some people are not allowed on the app. He added that it was the same as posting a slideshow containing the above photos.
“If everyone figured out how to make videos like this one, TikTok would be over, because no one on the app would be able to scroll through anything,” he declared.

At the moment, it seems like the only way to fix this issue is to close the app and reopen it.
