Virginia Giuffre's brother urges King Charles to take away Prince Andrew's title.

Virginia Giuffre’s family is urging King Charles III to revoke Prince Andrew’s remaining royal titles following her allegations of being sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell as a teenager. Giuffre claims she was compelled to have sexual encounters with Prince Andrew multiple times.

In an appearance on ITV, Giuffre’s brother, Skye Roberts, and his wife Amanda discussed their sentiments ahead of the release of Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice. “We’re proud of her, but it’s not over yet,” Skye remarked, emphasizing the importance of the book as a catalyst for change. He expressed confidence that further action should follow its publication.

He insisted on the necessity of reopening the investigation into Prince Andrew, arguing that British authorities hold enough documentation to pursue justice. “Having ‘prince’ in front of your name shouldn’t alter your accountability,” he stated, also expressing that if Andrew wasn’t of royal status, he would likely be facing incarceration now.

Skye called on King Charles to take measures against Andrew, contending that everyone needs to be judged equally. “My sister has always spoken the truth, and this is her moment of vindication,” he insisted, adding that existing evidence, such as flight records, could support further legal actions.

On the same day, Andrew released a statement via Buckingham Palace, announcing that ongoing allegations against him were hindering the royal family’s responsibilities. He reiterated his previous choice to step back from public life and claimed to prioritize his duties towards his family and the country.

Giuffre’s memoir recounts the night she first met Prince Andrew when she was 17, highlighting her feelings about that moment and the subsequent events that allegedly followed, shedding light on the nature of their encounters. Andrew has consistently denied the allegations, stating he never met Giuffre despite photographic evidence suggesting otherwise. In 2022, he settled with Giuffre out of court, reportedly for a sum between $6 million and $16 million, while both Epstein and Maxwell faced serious legal repercussions for their crimes.
