Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted a video message Tuesday urging his supporters to vote for former President Donald Trump in every state, whether blue, red or battleground.
“No matter what state you live in, you should vote for Donald Trump,” Kennedy said, “and I'll tell you why: Because it's the only way to bring me and all that I stand for to Washington, D.C., and fulfill the mission that motivated my campaign.”
Kennedy's message was that he Paused He campaigned and endorsed Trump, saying his supporters in “blue” and “red” states could vote for him because it would not affect the outcome of the election and “if the election were to change, I could be in the White House.”
But after Democrats filed lawsuits to keep Kennedy on the ballot in battleground states, he appeared to take a different approach, giving up his own White House ambitions in order to help ensure Trump's victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. Kennedy assured supporters on Tuesday that he would work within the Trump administration to protect free speech and pursue his other policies.
These include ending the war in Ukraine and transforming America’s nutritional status, as summarized in Kennedy’s Trump-reminiscent slogan, “Make America Healthy Again.”
Kennedy said rather than predicting contested elections, advocates should try to prevent them from happening.
“Any challenge to the election results would be a catastrophe for our divided nation. President Trump would need to win both the electoral and popular vote in a landslide victory, and he can't do that without my supporters on board.”
“Look at the bigger picture. We have to come together. We have to defeat the entrenched elites that are ruining our country.”
