Walz, along with running mate Kamala Harris, have been criticized for not giving any formal face-to-face interviews since becoming the running mate earlier this month.

According to Politico, The Harris campaign was reportedly unsure how to use Waltz in the media because “Waltz may not be fully aware of where Harris stands on every issue.”

It was announced that Ms. Harris and Mr. Waltz, who have largely avoided press interviews for weeks, would give a joint interview to CNN on Tuesday.
