Walz Names Taylor Swift Among Members of ‘Coalition’ Harris Has Built

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) said Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris (D) has built a “coalition” that includes pop star Taylor Swift and others.

Walz, who Harris chose as her White House campaign running mate, made the comments during the vice president's speech. discussion Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), former President Donald Trump's (R) vice presidential candidate.

Mr. Walz said in his closing remarks: “Support for democracy matters. It matters that you're here. And it's important that you're here. Breitbart News reported on September 10 that Swift recently publicly endorsed Harris, speaking out about the election before the presidential debate. she said in a social media post, adding that she plans to vote for Harris and Walz.

Following her endorsement, polls found Swift's popularity has declined overall among voters, Breitbart News reported on Saturday.

An NBC News poll released Friday found her “overall favorability rating among all registered voters has declined since last year, from 40 percent in 2023 to 33 percent this year.” “16% said they had negative feelings towards her in 2023, while 27% said they still do so now,” the article reads.

Additionally, Swift reportedly lost over 2 million Spotify listeners.
