President Donald Trump said he hopes to speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin this week as Ukraine has accepted a potential ceasefire deal negotiated by the United States.

“What's very important is, I said, Ukraine: Certain Fire… I only agreed a while ago. Now we have to go to Russia, and hopefully, Putin will agree with that as well, and we can get this show on the road.” Trump said he was sandwiched between Musk and his son, X.
Trump emphasized that “we want to get through that war” after 2,000-4,000 Ukrainians and Russian soldiers were killed the week they were given, and civilians were “slayed elsewhere.”
“I think it's a big difference from the last visit I saw in the oval office. It's a complete ceasefire. Ukraine agrees and hopefully Russia will agree with it,” Trump said. “We're going to meet them today and later tomorrow. Hopefully we can wipe out the deal.”
