The article primarily praised Biden’s “smartness” and “remarkably selfless decision” to “give up power” for the Democrats, and noted that the president had been exhibiting cognitive problems for some time but his aides had kept this fact hidden from the public.

Kamala has long said Biden is “very bold and energetic” and “tireless when it comes to work.” Biden has insisted he will be fine, saying he is “in good health and in good health.”

“The 81-year-old Biden has long shown signs of decline that his aides have sought to hide,” the article reads. “Biden and the country would be better off if he had kept the promise he implicitly made during the 2020 campaign to be a ‘transitional’ figure — perhaps by stepping down after Democrats perform surprisingly well in the 2022 midterm elections.”

He also concluded that, in retrospect, Biden “should never have sought reelection in the first place.”
But despite that admission, the article still claims that Biden’s decision to “step down” was “the most difficult decision he has made in his decades of political career.”

Many Americans have long questioned Biden’s mental health, despite his campaign frequently claiming before the debate that he remained mentally sound.
