WaPo Poll: Donald Trump Stronger than Joe Biden on Protecting Democracy 

Former President Donald Trump is a stronger candidate for defending democracy. The Washington Post Polls on Wednesday showed weakening support for Biden’s campaign’s claims of reelection.

Polls in six battleground states that President Joe Biden won in 2020 show that voters believe Trump is a better defender of democracy than Biden, beating the incumbent president by 11 points.

“For each of the following, which candidate do you think would be better at addressing threats to democracy in the United States?” post A poll from George Mason University’s Schar School of Government asked respondents:

Polls consistently show inflation, immigration and crime as far greater concerns among voters – areas in which Mr Trump leads.
