Wapo’s Ruth Marcus Accidentally Admits Trump’s No Fascist

Ruth Marcus, left and right columnist and disgraceful editor Washington Postwho just misrecognised that her vete noir, Donald Trump, is not a fascist.

Sub headline Of her latest hysterical and dishonest column, “Trump's second term is to cut government power and reach.”

Hey, what do you think is the opposite of fascism? Well, a pretty good definition is to “reduce government power and reach.”

Has Hitler reduced or increased the power and scope of the government?

Has Stalin reduced or increased the power and scope of the government?

What about other infamous fascists like Castro, Mussolini, Hugo Chavez, Barack Obama and Joe Biden?

They are all because that's what fascists do.

Trump is against it.

So you're going there.

Marcus isn't worried that Trump is pioneering fascism. She worries that the federal government will not be fascists when he and Elon Musk are finished.

What's particularly hilarious is how she desperately tries to pass the needle that “reducing government power and reach” is still fascism.

His second [term]he unleashed unprohibited attacks on career employees – punishing those who challenged him or his allies, kicking out or castrating people with years of expertise, and new plundering systems. What was designed to set the stage for, replacing experienced nonpartisan career workers with compliant loyalists.

If Trump is able to recognize the enemy in the government and successfully put loyalists in their place, will the new Democrats play politely with old-fashioned rules, or it is justified by engaging in a strict response Will it be done?

Where should I start with this propagandist slop…?

First, Trump has not spoken about replacing thousands of fired federal employees with compliant loyalists. He is trying to reduce the overall scale of bureaucracy, rather than firing out the bureaucracy or replacing it with MAGA types.

As little as he replaces, that's how democracy works. We vote for Chief Executive Officer and his blueprint for the future. He hires people from the executive department to make his vision come true. If you want to know what fascism is, it is an unelected bureaucrat who spends money and puts the power they have not voted for anyone.

I also voted for Elon Musk (yes!). No, really, we did. Trump didn't keep a secret the fact that he intended to let Musk do exactly what he was doing through this Doge initiative. After nearly 250 years of stagnation, people like Marcus thought it was about talking more about government audits and reductions. Good sadness, how many times did the candidate talk about cheering? Waste, fraud, abuse And did nothing? Assuming that's a story of more campaigns, no one in the fake media paid much attention to Trump and Musk's doge. If he had known how serious Trump was and how musk was being pushed against the ground during the campaign, legacy media would have tried to strangle it in his crib.

What I find most revealing (and dishonest) about Marcus is that USAID has never mentioned all the stupid spending that he sinned at the hands of an unelected bureaucrat.

As you know, the cut to the federal government, no matter how small, is heresy to the left. Hopefully the left will be between four years of despair. Trump understands better than the president how unelected bureaucracy has become a fascist, and he says that what happened to him during his first term is not allowed to happen again. I intend to guarantee it.
