A small business owner and his employees were robbed at gunpoint, and the entire incident was caught on camera.
Peyton Jones has run Revive Coffee, a drive-thru coffee stand in Tacoma, Washington, for nearly a decade. “The Jason Lantz Show“She told KTTH radio station that even though she followed local crime news, she never thought she would be a victim.”
Two weeks ago, Jones’ store was targeted by a woman who appeared to be hiding a rifle under a blanket or jacket around 6:30 a.m. Jones said the suspect demanded money from the register and threatened her and her employees.
“I literally felt like I was going to be shot,” Jones told a local newspaper. FOX 13 Seattle. “It could have been a really bad day. Like, my kids, excuse me, my kids could have had to bury their mother.”

“It’s been a real wake-up call and a very humbling and I think a learning experience,” Jones said, “but it’s not a question of if it’s going to happen, it’s a question of when it’s going to happen, because crime is so bad in our community, here in Pierce County, King County, across the state and across the country.”
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the investigating agency, did not immediately respond to FOX Business’ request for comment.
