Brown was so excited to be reunited with Youman that she dropped her shoe while running towards him, but also took to social media to describe the moment Youman was brought back to her.

“One shoe? Listen! I was running and I didn’t want to hit this ass. My shoe came off! My son’s gone home!” Brown said.

Yurman was robbed at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, when Brown threatened him with a gun while he was walking in the 1700 block of Fort Davis Street SE.

According to a Met Police press release, Met officers were able to locate the stolen dog after Yurman’s owner was contacted by someone claiming to be looking to sell him back.

Detectives then conducted a sting operation and arrested 27-year-old Rafael Lambert Laundamon II and 27-year-old Kahlia Johnson, both of whom were charged with extortion and receiving stolen property.
