WATCH: Even CNN is calling Biden a liar in brutal fact-check

Joe Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention this week was so full of lies that even CNN, one of the most left-leaning news organizations in existence, condemned him.

Dave Rubin plays a clip of CNN’s Jake Tapper and Daniel Dale discussing the various lies and half-truths in the president’s speech.

“What did you think? [Biden’s speech]”?” Tupper asked Dale.

“Certainly, there have been some false and misleading claims, particularly on the topic of the economy,” Dale responded, pointing to a moment in the speech when Biden said, “We used to import products and export jobs. Now we’re exporting American products and creating American jobs. Right here in the United States of America!”

“This claim is misleading,” Dale said, noting that while U.S. merchandise exports have increased under President Biden, the U.S. still imports large amounts of goods.

“Another thing Biden didn’t mention is that U.S. imports Increased During his presidency, the goods trade deficit has actually increased by more than exports have increased, and therefore the goods trade deficit has increased under President Biden, not decreased as this assertion suggests.”

“We’ve never reached that level before, even though we were over $1 trillion each of my first three years in office,” Dale said, noting another misleading statement Biden made during his speech.

“There are 1,000 billionaires in America. You know the average tax rate they pay? [is]”8.2 percent!” the President shouted in mock indignation.

“Experts at the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center told me that number is ‘way too low,'” Dale corrected.

“The average federal tax rate for billionaires is teeth 8.2%, what? [Biden] “What’s not explained is that that figure is not the actual tax rate. It’s a different calculation by economists in his own administration that takes into account unrealized capital gains, which are not treated as taxable income under current law.”

“Biden himself uses that as if it were the current law tax rate, which it isn’t,” Dale told Tapper, adding that while the actual tax rates billionaires pay “have not been made public,” “a study by two leading economists estimates that the average effective tax rate paid by the top 400 households in 2018 was 23 percent — much higher than the president’s figure.”
