WATCH: Glenn Beck’s HEATED response interviewing FEMA agents

glenn beck I just returned from Asheville, North Carolina, where Hurricane Helen, the deadliest hurricane of modern times, hit the coastline.

While there, Glenn witnessed a gathering of caring people and organizations dedicated to helping the countless victims. Individuals, universities, churches, and numerous nonprofit humanitarian organizations, including Mercury One, came together to provide relief and assistance to those affected by the storm.

But what Glenn didn't witness was the Federal Emergency Management Agency doing its job.

In fact, he barely witnessed FEMA.

During his stay, he met with FEMA officials only twice. For the first time, he saw a FEMA truck parked in a secluded area away from public view.

“What we did was [the agents]And they were sitting under this tree at a card table with folding chairs. They were all wearing FEMA vests,” Glenn said.

“So I said, 'Hey, what are you guys doing here?' And the guy said, 'Well, we just got here last night.' …I couldn't do anything when I got here last night, so today is really my first day, but wow, it took me longer to get here than I thought. ”

And when Glenn asked what they were going to do now that they had finally arrived, the FEMA official said, “They… [victims] I've registered to receive assistance,'' but they were waiting for the flyer and waiting for it to arrive first.

Glenn was, and still is, disgusted by the indiscretion of an organization that should be on the front lines of serving the needs of the American people and is funded by taxpayer dollars.

The second time he saw FEMA officials, they were building showers for volunteers, not for evacuees.

“FEMA is despicable,” Glenn says with disgust. “I don't like to call people traitors, and I won't say that today, but I will say this: the argument could be made that there are many people on the brink of treason.”

The people who run FEMA are also on that list.

“FEMA spent $1.4 billion to [illegal] Immigration…About rehousing [and] They bring in illegal immigrants without us knowing it,” Glenn said.

But when tragedy strikes, what do Americans gain after losing everything?

FEMA is offering victims an embarrassing $750.

“Seven hundred and fifty dollars to the people who pay taxes, hard-working, normal people. They can't even send a helicopter to take people off the roof, and they show up a week late,” Glenn charges.

Why is the amount so low?

Apparently, the reason is “because they don't have the money,” Glenn said, noting that undocumented immigrants were given cell phones, debit cards, hotel stays, free food, free medical care and all sorts of other resources.

What's more, President Biden's arrival “suspended our nation's rescue helicopters from rescuing people for four hours.”
