MSNBC’s left-wing panel takes a somewhat harsh view of the Super Tuesday results, in which Donald Trump defeated Nikki Haley in all but one of the primaries.
Their anger is not surprising.
But Joy Reid took her criticism one step too far by ranting about Republicans voting solely based on race.
“[Republicans] Don’t vote based on economics or the financial benefit you’re getting from the president. …They’re voting on race. They’re voting for this idea of brown people crossing the border. [and] The idea that you can’t get the job you want [because] Black people got it,” she said, adding that Republicans “want to kick all black people out of college.”
“I didn’t realize that all this time I was voting on race,” Pat Gray says wryly, “and I didn’t care about economics.”
The irony of Reid’s racist attack on the Republican Party’s supposed racism and cultural appropriation becomes even stronger when you consider Reid’s hairstyle: a blonde-pink pixie cut.
“I don’t know what culture that is, but it’s not hers,” Pat said, pointing out the hypocrisy of the left’s constant accusations of “cultural appropriation.”
