Watch live: Harris holds first rally in Wisconsin after Biden withdraws from race

Vice President Harris heads to Wisconsin on Tuesday for her first rally since securing enough delegates to become a leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, where she is expected to rail against former President Trump and boast about her massive fundraising.

The Milwaukee campaign stop will be her first for the presidency after last week’s Republican National Convention and her fifth visit this year to the Badger State, a key battleground state ahead of November.

The vice president will arrive in the state riding high on momentum: Her campaign raised more than $100 million between Sunday afternoon, when President Biden announced he would not seek reelection, and Monday night. More than 1.1 million individual donors contributed to the campaign.

In addition to Harris, many Wisconsin officials are scheduled to attend Tuesday’s event, including Governor Tony Evers (D), Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D), Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez (D), Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson (D) and state Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2:05 PM EDT.
