Watch live: NTSB to provide update on National Airport plane collision investigation

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will provide the latest information on Thursday afternoon on recent fatal aircraft collisions near Reagan Washington National Airport.

Approximately 60 people believed that they were on an American Airlines flight that collided with the UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter in the final approach to Arlington, Virginia. river.

President Trump called CRASHE as a “tragedy of a terrible percentage” on Thursday, but immediately claimed that the case had politically politicized, accused the Democratic Party, and lowered the aviation safety standard. He also quoted the efforts of the Federal Aviation Bureau to hire individuals with disabilities, aiming for diversity, fairness, and inclusive initiatives.

“The group in the FAA decided that the labor was too white, and worked hard to change it to the administration and change it immediately,” Trump said. “This was in the Obama administration.”

Trump acknowledged that it was still unknown who was responsible for the collision in the media briefing on Thursday. NTSB is investigating crashes alongside FAA, other federation and local organizations.

NTSB briefing will start at 2:45 pm in the eastern standard time.
