Former President Trump is scheduled to appear in Pennsylvania’s state capital, Harrisburg, on Wednesday for his first rally in the state since the July 13 assassination attempt in Butler.
Despite worldwide condemnation of the attack, recent polls in the crucial Keystone State suggest the former president suffered some setbacks in his bid to retake the White House during an eventful July.
Vice President Harris, Trump’s potential new Democratic challenger, showed a 4-point lead in the July 22-28 Susquehanna Poll, within the margin of error but reversing the advantage she had over President Biden in earlier surveys. With Pennsylvania still at stake, intense campaigning by both parties is to be expected, plus Trump said last week he plans to return to Butler for another rally.
The former president is scheduled to appear at the Harrisburg event on Wednesday at 6 p.m. EDT.
