Former President Trump is scheduled to campaign in Atlanta on Saturday evening, with the Republican presidential candidate vowing to “unleash hell” with Vice President Harris ahead of the November election.
“24 hours left until we unleash hell…. This time tomorrow, Evil Kamala’s worst nightmare will come true,” the Trump campaign said in an email to supporters on Friday. The former president also said he plans to take to the stage at Deep Blue Atlanta, where he will be greeted by thousands of “MAGA patriots.”
His comments came just days after Harris rallied an enthusiastic crowd in Georgia’s capital, where she used her platform to urge the former president to debate, saying: “If you have something to say, say it to my face.”
Trump will run in the Peach State alongside Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), who will be his running mate in the 2024 presidential election.
Early polls show Trump leading Harris, who became the Democratic nominee on Friday, by just over 3 percentage points, with the former president’s approval rating at 48% and the vice president’s at 44.9% in the Hill/Decision Desk Polling Index.
Trump is scheduled to speak at 5 p.m. EDT.
