CNN has paid lip service to Kamala Harris' campaign every day, but the far-left network hasn't always supported candidates.
In 2019, when Kamala's first campaign for president was failing miserably, multiple CNN anchors slammed her on the network.

“It is unacceptable that with less than 90 days until Iowa, we still have no real plan to win. Our For the People campaign is comprised of diverse talent, but that talent is being wasted by indecision and a lack of leadership,” a CNN anchor read from the resignation letter of Kelly Mellenbacher, a Harris campaign aide who resigned to join the Bloomberg campaign after witnessing such flagrant incompetence.
National political reporter and journalist Molly Ball said she wasn't surprised by Mehlenbacher's resignation, saying Kamala “has literally been hearing these kinds of complaints for months and still hasn't been able to turn it around.”
“She's met by reporters, campaign workers, people outside the campaign, just about every voter she meets during the campaign, and the common thread is that people want to like her but she just can't seal the deal. She can't articulate a coherent, compelling message that will persuade the voters who show up for her, who are interested in what she's pitching them, to decide she's the candidate they can support,” Ball explained.
“Her message is multifaceted,” one CNN anchor agreed.
“Her campaign is hard to follow because there are so many different messages flying around. One of the biggest debates going on inside her is whether she wants to be a progressive left-wing California liberal or whether she wants to be more of a moderate. And the fact that she's vacillating between the two makes it hard for any voter to follow her,” added journalist Torce Olorunnipa.
“Her inability to stick to one policy proposal, one policy issue, which she really wanted to make her trademark, got her to where she is today,” criticized journalist Julie Hirschfeld Davis.
