After months of waiting and speculation, Trump has finally chosen Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate.
As expected, reactions to President Trump’s choice of running mate have been mixed, but Dave Rubin finds Tucker Carlson’s reaction particularly “interesting.”

“J.D. Vance has been selected as the vice presidential nominee, which should be exciting for anyone who’s been paying attention,” Carlson said in his speech.
Instead of listing Vance’s qualities and positive attributes, Carlson opted for a different tack: “Every bad person I’ve ever met in Washington was running against J.D. Vance.”
“The people who were waiting in lines stretching from Milwaukee to Chicago were not standing in line for any personal reason, but to stab J.D. Vance last week… [because] They thought he would be harder to manipulate, less intent on killing people…. They thought he would be an obstacle to their exercise of power,” Carlson continued.
“What Tucker is really saying is that there are people in the deep state who want to keep us in a perpetual war, and they [Trump’s VP pick]” says Dave.
