Many questions remain unanswered about the near-assassination of President Trump, including why police allegedly ignored witnesses who saw an armed gunman climbing onto a rooftop near the rally.
“I’m not going down the conspiracy theory road right now, I’m just presenting what has been shown so far,” says Dave Rubin, playing footage of the BBC’s explosive interview with a man who saw Thomas Matthew Crookes climb onto a rooftop with a rifle.

“We noticed the guy crawling like a bear on the roof of the building next door, about 50 feet away from us,” an eyewitness at a party just outside the Trump rally told the BBC’s Gary O’Donoghue.
“We could clearly see he had a rifle,” he explained. “We were pointing at them. The cops were running around below. We were yelling, ‘Hey, there’s a guy on the roof with a rifle,’ and the cops were like, ‘What? What?’… It was like they didn’t know what was going on.”
“We said, ‘Hey, we see him on the roof… he’s crawling,'” he continued. “I stood there and pointed at him for a couple of minutes. Secret Service was watching us from the top of the barn. I just stood there and pointed at the roof… and the next thing you know, five shots rang out.”
“We were calling the police. We were pointing them out to the Secret Service who were watching us from the top of the barn. They were watching us the whole time,” the witness said.
“What do you make of what you’ve just seen?” asked O’Donoghue.
“If I had approached there with anything that the Secret Service would have a problem with, I wouldn’t be here talking to you all right now. But I don’t know why a guy that we’re pointing out to the police and the Secret Service is crawling on roofs,” he said, implying he might have been intentionally ignored.
He also expressed doubt about the lack of Secret Service agents stationed on rooftops surrounding the rally site.
“My question is, why would the Secret Service be here when there are only a few buildings in this area? every building?”
