Paramount+ is gearing up for a busy Sunday with the upcoming episodes of “The Mayor of Kingstown,” alongside “Tulsa King” and NFL on CBS.
This series is one among several within Taylor Sheridan’s universe on Paramount+, which also includes titles like “1923,” “Landman,” and “Lioness.”
In “The Mayor of Kingstown,” Jeremy Renner portrays Mike McCluskey, who serves as the corporate city’s “mayor.” His role involves mediating between various street gangs, inmates, guards, and law enforcement in Kingstown.
In Season 4, the storyline intensifies as Mike faces challenges to his control over Kingstown. New players emerge to vie for power left vacant by the Russians, thrusting him into escalating gang conflicts. He also has to contend with a new warden while grappling with his troubled past, as his loved ones become increasingly endangered.
Alongside familiar faces, Edie Falco joins the cast as the new prison warden, while Lennie James steps in as Frank Moses, a notable gangster with ties to Detroit and Michigan. Laura Benanti is introduced as Cindy Stevens, a fresh corrections officer in Kingstown.
