The Chicago Cubs managed to stave off elimination in Game 3 of the NLDS yesterday, but they’ll need another victory tonight to stay alive in both the series and their season against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers had previously taken the first two games of the series, so moving to Chicago for Game 3 was a crucial moment. Cubs first baseman Michael Bush broke through with his second home run in as many games, making a bit of history as the first MLB player to do this. Following his lead-off homer, the Cubs quickly secured three more runs in the first inning, ultimately winning Game 3 by a close score of 4-3.
Now, as they prepare for Game 4, here’s what you need to know:
- When: October 9th, 6:08 PM ET/3:08 PM PT
- Where: Wrigley Field, Chicago, Illinois
- Channel: TBS, True TV
- Streaming: DIRECTV (with a free trial), Sling TV
If the Cubs can secure another win tonight, the series will head back to Milwaukee for a decisive Game 5 this Saturday.
