Prime Video Embraces NASCAR

This weekend, Prime Video will become the exclusive platform for streaming the Coca-Cola 600, a significant NASCAR event. Alongside this, a new documentary series is set to launch, delving into the life and career of Dale Earnhardt, a towering figure in the sport.

Earnhardt kicked off his NASCAR journey in 1975, almost 50 years ago, and went on to have a remarkable 26-year career, securing 76 race wins and seven NASCAR Cup Series Championships. He was a prominent face in NASCAR, capturing the attention of fans and followers alike. His family, particularly his son Dale Earnhardt Jr., has played an integral role in his legacy. The documentary, titled “Earnhardt,” culminates with the heartbreaking events of the 2001 Daytona 500, exploring family dynamics and the impact of Earnhardt’s life.

Produced by Oscar winners Brian Glazer and Ron Howard, the series includes rare footage, exhilarating race highlights, and candid interviews with his children, rivals, and close friends.

Release Date for “Earnhardt” on Prime Video:

The first two episodes of “Earnhardt” will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting May 22. Following that, two more episodes will be released on Thursday, May 29.
