Defending champion Jannik Sinner is set to face off against Alexander Zverev, a first-time finalist at Wimbledon. Zverev recently clinched his inaugural Grand Slam title at the French Open just last month.
In the semifinals, Sinner managed to defeat Novak Djokovic, denying him a 25th Grand Slam title in straight sets.
Zverev, meanwhile, knocked out British wildcard Arthur Ferry, putting an end to Ferry’s remarkable journey through the tournament. As the reigning champion of the French Open, Zverev could make history by becoming the first man in the Open era to win a second major title consecutively, right after securing his first.
