Philadelphia Eagles Aim for Victory Against Vikings
The Philadelphia Eagles, reigning Super Bowl champions, are looking to bounce back this weekend in Minneapolis.
After suffering two tough losses to the Denver Broncos and New York Giants, Jalen Hurts and his 4-2 team will face the 3-2 Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 19th.
They’ll be up against quarterback Carson Wentz, the Eagles’ second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Wentz, who was with Philadelphia from 2016 to 2020, has stepped in as the starter this season after JJ McCarthy was injured in Week 1.
In his last appearance, Wentz completed 25 out of 34 passes for 236 yards and one touchdown, leading his team to a 21-17 win over the Browns in London. “We have a really special group of players,” Wentz said after the game. “Everyone’s really connected, and it’s important to enjoy each moment.” It seems like there’s a strong camaraderie among the players.
