Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions Matchup
The Washington Commanders are set to take on the Detroit Lions today in Week 10 of the NFL season. Unfortunately for the Commanders, they’ll be without their starting quarterback once again.
Jaden Daniels, who returned last week after missing one game, faced another setback. He dislocated his elbow during the game against the Seahawks, leaving him sidelined with his left arm in a cast. Fortunately, he avoided serious ligament damage and might return later this season, but that won’t be until at least Week 13. In the meantime, Marcus Mariota will once again take over as the starter.

The Lions head into this week after a loss, but they boast an impressive record of 12-0 in their last 12 games following a defeat. They’ve managed to avoid back-to-back losses since October 2022. If you’re interested in watching the game, you might wonder how to catch the Lions vs. Commanders.

Watching the Game for Free
If you don’t have cable, there are options for streaming. One of my go-to services is DIRECTV. They offer a 5-day free trial that includes FOX, along with numerous other channels needed for NFL games. After the trial, plans start as low as $49.99 per month for over 90 channels.
Sling TV is another budget-friendly option to stream NFL games starting at $19.99 per month, which includes the FOX channel with their choice plan.
