The NFL preseason kicks off this week with a matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens.
During this game, it’s expected that more experienced players will step aside, allowing younger players, particularly in the secondary positions, to showcase their skills.
The Ravens will introduce some new talents, including first-round draft choice Malaki Starks, second-year safety Sanu Shicane, and Boe Blade.
On the Colts’ side, the quarterback competition heats up with Anthony Richardson, the fourth overall pick in the 2023 draft. He is set to play for about a quarter and a half against the Ravens; interestingly, former major Daniel Jones will suit up in a similar capacity next week.
This marks the third preseason encounter between these two teams, with the Ravens last winning in 2018 by a narrow margin of 20-19.
