Aaron Rodgers is set to face his former team, the Green Bay Packers, for the first time since his departure in 2023. While he dubbed the Week 1 victory against the New York Jets with the Pittsburgh Steelers a “revenge game,” he stated that this matchup is different.
Prior to the game, Rodgers mentioned to reporters, “I wish my last year here had unfolded better, but I still have strong ties with many within that organization. This isn’t about revenge; I’m just really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and being part of ‘Sunday Night Football.’
The Steelers are coming off a close loss to the Bengals, recording a 4-2 record, whereas the Packers have won their last two games, including a 27-23 victory over the Cardinals, boosting their record to 4-1-1.
