We can destroy them effectively or destroy them brutally.

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, President Trump made a public commitment to Iran, stating he would put an end to the nation’s nuclear program.

While speaking with radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump expressed a desire for “strong, verified deals” regarding a potential revision of the nuclear agreement with Tehran.

He suggested that there are essentially two choices moving forward, adding, “Well, we could actually blow it away.”

In 2018, Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA), but he is now seeking diplomatic solutions to stop Iran’s second-phase nuclear development.

Discussions involving the Omani government and Trump’s special Middle Eastern envoy, Steve Witkov, included three consultations.

However, a fourth meeting that was planned for last weekend in Rome was canceled due to “logistics reasons.”

In a Sunday interview with NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” Trump asserted that he would only agree to “complete dismantling” of Iran’s nuclear program, emphasizing that “the world will be destroyed” otherwise.

Iranian officials maintain that their nuclear initiative is intended for civilian use, a claim met with skepticism by the U.S. and its allies.

Trump remarked on Sunday, “You know, civilian energy often leads to military wars. And we don’t want them to have nuclear weapons.”

Vice President JD Vance reiterated early Wednesday that the U.S. sees a potential deal that could economically integrate Iran into the global community.

Vance explained, “It’s really good for Iranians, but it’s going to bring about a complete halt of their chances of getting nuclear weapons. That’s what we’re negotiating,” during a statement at the Munich Leadership Conference.

He further clarified, “As the president said, it’s option A and option B. If option A is very beneficial for the Iranian people, then some, even within Iranian leadership, might favor that—Option B is very unfavorable. That’s not our goal.
