The investigation into the January 6 footage continues to raise more questions than answers, especially after Blaze News’ latest findings.
New exclusive footage of that fateful day makes the actions of Capitol Police even more suspicious after a pipe bomb was discovered outside the Democratic National Convention headquarters.
The footage showed Capitol Police moving surveillance cameras away from the scene as the crime unfolded.
Investigative journalist Steve Baker has been studying the footage since day one.
He noted that the Capitol Police who responded to the pipe bomb call were “literally finishing their sandwiches in their cars before getting out of their cars to deal with the bomb with the vice president 15 feet away in the building.” ing.
What’s even stranger is that the camera’s perspective changed when the bomb was reported to the Capitol Police command center where the cameraman was located.
Four minutes after a plainclothes police officer reported the bomb, cameras began zooming and panning for the first time to find the bomb. The camera was then moved to face in the opposite direction.
“Why would they keep the cameras away from the crime scene? Who ordered the cameras to be removed? What was it that we weren’t allowed to see?” Baker said. asked in an investigative video of the footage.
Glenn Beck believes this was all a ruse.
“This appears to me to be a diversion because they were both discovered about five minutes before the Capitol attack,” he said, asking Baker, “What do you think this was meant to do?” Asked.
“They were a diversion, intended to reduce the force available to protect the Capitol that day. There is no other way, no other reasonable explanation,” Baker says.
