During a broadcast of “Cuomo” on News Nation, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) emphasized that “consultations need to be initiated” when assisting South American nations in stabilizing their economies, which she linked to crime, to tackle the fundamental issue of illegal immigration.
Luna noted, “El Salvador is at the forefront of anti-crime stability efforts in South America. As you know, a significant number of individuals entering the U.S. illegally come from South America. In the long-term, fostering that relationship could yield surprising benefits for both our country and South America.”
She added, “Our focus is on supporting efforts to help our people and stabilize the region. It’s important to mention that the White House is currently involved in tariff negotiations with El Salvador, as well as holding trade discussions with other nations.”
