We Need to Export Capitalism, Christianity, Free Markets — Not Import the Third World

Appearing on FM Talk 106.5 radio in Mobile, Alabama on Friday, Rep. Barry Moore (R-Alabama) responded to the influx of Haitian immigrants into some parts of the country, including his home state of Alabama.

Moore spoke out against “Third World imports” and said the U.S. had more to offer.

“These people are going to end up in our communities, and now it's starting to have an effect,” Moore said. “Brother, I've been to Haiti. I did a mission trip there. But we need to export capitalism and Christianity and the free market to the world. We don't need to import the Third World into our communities. If you talk to educators in our communities, people who can't assimilate, people who can't speak the language, they have no way to communicate with these kids. They get dropped off at the doorstep of these schools. And in the medical field, I've talked to some doctors. They're treating people in the emergency room who are racking up crazy bills.”

“You know, health care is expensive,” he continued, “but in many cases they don't even know your real name. There's no way the money's going to come in. So you buy off an administration with reckless border policies, importing people from all over the world, no matter who they are or where they come from, and just giving them citizenship and subsidies, and you bankrupt the country. We're already $35 trillion in debt, and I think crime is going to follow. We're already starting to see signs of that. Several homes have been broken into on the Enterprise.”

“You know, an AR-15 was stolen from someone, one for each couple,” Moore added. “They had to remove all of their azaleas in their yard because people were camping in their yard. They were using them as cover. We're starting to see the consequences of this reckless, open border policy that Biden put in place that is now impacting communities in a variety of ways.”
