The head of the Olympic Committee said he is “very confident” that President-elect Donald Trump will support the 2028 Olympics, despite his vilification of him in 2017.
International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach praised President Trump at a press conference after the board meeting, despite harsh headlines surrounding the first meeting of the Trump administration's first term.
