According to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 35., Ronte Stokes, 45, was arrested and charged with five felonies and one count of criminal mischief after the incident Saturday night at an event hall in Largo.
Stokes, who was a guest at the wedding, allegedly got into an argument with the bride and pushed her to the ground.
The relationship between Stokes and his bride was not immediately disclosed in the affidavit, and the reason for the exchange was not disclosed. However, the affidavit states there was evidence that the influence of alcohol played a role in the altercation.
