Wells Fargo announced Friday afternoon that it will close its Drive Up Bank in downtown Des Moines this spring. Wells Fargo announced Friday afternoon that it will close its Drive Up Bank in downtown Des Moines this spring.

The branch of 115 7th St. will close at 11am on Wednesday, May 21st.

“From that day onwards, customers will be able to continue using the downtown branch near 801 Walnut St. to meet the bank's needs,” according to the news release. “Customers are closing as they are increasingly using digital channels when they drive up and are reducing transactions.”
