What ice cream flavor represents your zodiac sign?

Ice cream lovers, unite! July is here, bringing with it National Ice Cream Month.

Olympian runner Don Cardon once said, “If there were no ice cream, it would be a confusing world.” I think he’s right.

As we celebrate the richness of ice cream, we savor its variety. In the U.S., ice cream is something people cherish, and even lawmakers recognize its value. Would you believe that during various crises, President Ronald Reagan made moves to highlight ice cream?

In 1984, he declared July as “National Ice Cream Month” and the third Sunday of the month as “National Ice Cream Day.” He noted that “over 90% of Americans enjoy ice cream as a wonderful dessert and snack.” I’m not sure how nutritious it really is, but I suspect that the 10% who don’t like it may just be missing out.

Let’s explore more!

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Cookies and Cream

Aries tends to jump headfirst into challenges, much like the bold flavors in cookies and cream, which is actually quite controversial in its creation.

South Dakota State University claims to have invented this flavor in 1979, while John Harrison, an ice cream tester, argues it was him who created it in 1982. It’s hard to declare a winner; maybe it’s just a fight that keeps going.

In terms of history, Aries flavor blends go way back—think of ancient Romans at Vesuvius enjoying ice cream covered in honey.

It’s a flavor that embodies the Taurus spirit—more richness, more flavor, more of everything.

Alfred L. Cralle, the inventor of the ice cream scoop, shared a Virgo’s desire for efficiency.
