CNN political commentator Van Jones told “News Central” on Friday that “patriots” should fight back against President Donald Trump's Cabinet picks.
When asked about Kash Patel leading the FBI, Jones said: That's just a joke. Where are the patriots? Where are the American patriots? You're now talking about completely incompetent people, people that most Americans, business owners, would not hire to run a taco stand, being appointed to head the FBI. The American government is working. What problem are we trying to solve? Go to another country. Many of the things that her parents and grandparents put in place are still working, so she can go anywhere and feel happy to be here. You have to believe that something isn't true, but somehow America is falling apart and all these horrible people are doing terrible things. ”
He added: “What problems could be solved by putting Kash Patel in charge of literally anything?” This is a joke. This is an insult. Even Republican voters should be insulted. The American government should be respected. It must be populated by competent people who respect the American government. Kash Patel failed that test, and almost every job in America will fail that test too. ”
