Hulu’s “Testaments” Premieres, A Sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale”
One year after the last season of The Handmaid’s Tale debuted, Hulu is releasing its sequel titled Testaments.
This new series consists of 10 episodes and is adapted from Margaret Atwood’s sequel novel, continuing the story several years after the events of the original series.
Chase Infinity stars as Agnes Mackenzie, who is, interestingly, June/Offred’s daughter Hannah from The Handmaid’s Tale. Testaments explores the lives of Agnes and Daisy (played by Lucy Halliday), two teenagers growing up in Gilead. They attend Aunt Lydia’s prep school as they deal with the harsh realities of their future.
Ann Dowd will reprise her role as Aunt Lydia in this new tale.

The first three episodes of “Testaments” launched on Hulu today, April 8th, and are available for streaming.
