In the NFL, nothing is guaranteed.
Take the upcoming game where Geno Smith’s New York Jets face Malik Willis’ Miami Dolphins, who are yet to secure a win this season. The Jets enter this Week 7 matchup as 4.5-point favorites, playing at MetLife Stadium.
While many expect Gang Green to pull off a win, there’s a sizable chance that Jeff Hafley’s struggling team—despite their poor record—might surprise Aaron Glenn’s squad.

According to some reports, “This is a test for Glenn to ensure his team is sharp and doesn’t falter.” It’s expected to be a clean performance, a sort of “get-right game.” Typically, the Jets are the team that helps others find their footing, but they need to address their problems against a struggling Dolphins squad.
On the other hand, New York is coming off a tough 26-19 loss to the Patriots last week. They showed some promise in the third quarter, scoring ten unanswered points, but ultimately fell short.
“I don’t think anyone feels great about being 2-4, but I’m optimistic about our effort,” Glenn said. “Sure, 2-4 isn’t a good place to be, but I see potential in what we can develop.”
Fingers crossed they manage to build on those positives because, well, it’s clear—there are no easy wins in NFL football.
