Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said on Monday’s Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.” whether any further progress can be made at the Peace Conference on the Russian-Flaine War is entirely entirely appointed by President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump to Ukraine.
Guest host Ashley Webster said, “Rep., can we make any more progress here, or is it a little lost cause, what do you say?”
Issa replied, “Well, this is totally true – to be honest, to Putin. One important thing to remember is that it gives Putin a real opportunity, and he gave Ukraine the opportunity to be absolutely taken away from President Zelensky’s embedding past opportunities, so President Zelensky gave him past opportunities. He himself has no doubts that if Russia is not willing to come to the table, you have to support Ukraine.”
