LSU and Ole Miss Players’ Relationship Sparks Buzz Ahead of Game

Whit Weeks, a linebacker for the LSU Tigers, and Landry Kiffin, daughter of Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, seemingly confirmed their relationship before their teams squared off against each other.

Landry shared a collection of photos on Instagram, simply captioning them “Happy.” It seems, well, they’re enjoying each other’s company. A playful interaction followed where Weeks called her “a lovely man,” to which she humorously replied, “Thank you to Bad.”

It’s interesting timing, considering the intensity surrounding the LSU versus Ole Miss game. This matchup, slated for Saturday afternoon in Oxford, Mississippi, is one of the standout SEC games early in the season.

Weeks has emerged as a key player this season. He led the SEC in solo tackles last season, and he’s already notched up 11 tackles, including five solo efforts, in the first four games. LSU is performing well, currently sitting at fourth in the Associated Press Top 25, boasting a 4-0 record.

On the other hand, Lane Kiffin has been coaching Ole Miss since 2020, guiding the team to a commendable record of three 10-win seasons in four years. The Rebels are also 4-0 this season, making this game crucial for both teams.

With the stakes high for so many reasons, Saturday’s game is shaping up to be quite a spectacle.
