White House surprises Nicki Minaj with Trump video featuring her song on TikTok

Nicki Minaj Receives a Surprise from the President

Nicki Minaj had quite the unexpected moment with the President. The official White House TikTok account shared a video featuring President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, set to a mashup of Minaj’s tracks “Beez in the Trap” and “What’s Up?” by 4 Non Blondes.

In the clip, the couple can be seen hand in hand at various official events, dancing on the White House balcony, and celebrating during the inauguration, all while the music plays in the background.

Minaj Talks About Past Relationship Issues

The 42-year-old rapper took to X, expressing her sheer excitement about the video. She wrote, “The President and First Lady of the United States! I don’t know who uploaded this to the White House TikTok, but I’m just ecstatic!”

She added, “I’m not entirely sure what timeline we’re living in, but I’m rolling with it.” Fans in the comments were equally bewildered, with remarks like, “I never thought a Nicki and Trump collaboration was necessary” and “This wasn’t something I expected for my 2025 bingo card.”

Back in October, Minaj reposted a video of President Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, participating in a TikTok trend, indicating a playful connection with the family.

Kai later posted another video, this time with friends, referring to Minaj, saying, “Nicki Minaj saw our TikTok so we 😆.” It seems there’s a shared excitement over the somewhat unexpected interaction.

Minaj had previously expressed her appreciation for the President’s stance on religious persecution in Nigeria, underscoring the importance of freedom to worship without fear. She mentioned feeling grateful for living in a country that allows such freedoms.

She emphasized, “No group should be persecuted for their beliefs. We don’t have to share the same beliefs to show respect for one another.”

Acknowledging Global Issues

Continuing her reflection, she noted how many nations are grappling with religious intolerance: “It’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice.” She also thanked the President for taking the issue seriously, urging her followers to pray for those affected.

In a recent post, Trump pointed out the dire situation facing Christians in Nigeria, stating, “Thousands have lost their lives to Islamic extremists. The U.S. cannot just stand by and watch these atrocities happen.”
