Donald J. Trump is often referred to as “President Trump” or “Mister President,” and has previously been referred to as “Commander in Chief,” “POTUS,” and “45” because he was the 45th President of the United States. He also holds several other notable titles.
But before he became leader of the free world, Trump was affectionately known as “Dad” by his five children — Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany and Barron — and “Grandpa” by his 10 grandchildren, starting with his eldest son, Kai.
Kai, 17, appeared ready to step into the spotlight of American politics after speaking on the third day of the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

“My dad calls me during class and asks how my golf game is going and he tells me all about his game, and I have to tell him I’m at school and to call him back later,” Trump’s granddaughter told a raucous crowd in Milwaukee.
“I was shocked to hear on Saturday that he’d been shot. I just wanted to know if he was OK,” Trump said of the events following the assassination attempt on the former president.
“A lot of people put my grandpa through hell but he still gets up,” the teenager added.

“Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you,” Trump said. “The media has portrayed my grandpa as someone he wasn’t, but I know the real you, a very caring and loving man who truly wants the best for this country and will fight every day to Make America Great Again. Thank you so much.”

The daughter of the recently divorced Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump was Dana White’s guest of honor at the UFC 303 fight she attended in person with her father. The Florida teenager posed for photos with A-listers, including UFC president White, former NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers and country music star Jelly Roll.
Kai, born on May 12, 2007, is an avid golfer. She is active on social media and regularly posts about her golfing prowess.
Last year, from Florida I started a YouTube channelShe launched an outreach social media page with a video titled “Get to Know Kai Trump!”
“It’s going to be a fun channel overall,” Kai said in the video.
As Kai races around the golf course, his friends ask him questions and he tells viewers about some of his favorite things, including Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes, prosciutto and ricotta, pickleball and tennis.
In March, Kai won the Women’s Club Championship at the private Trump Golf Club in West Palm Beach. She has previously posted photos and videos of herself playing with pro golfer and PGA player Bryson DeChambeau.
Kai weaves his fitness videos together while reminding social media users that he’s an unquestioning supporter of his grandfather.
On Saturday, while addressing supporters at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, former President Trump was shot by a lone gunman on a nearby rooftop. He was shot in the ear and then escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents.

Before being taken away, the former president was recorded raising his fist and yelling at the crowd, “Fight, fight, fight.”
Kai took to Instagram to pay tribute to his grandfather’s unwavering will to fight the US political system for his people: “Grandpa, we love you. Never stop fighting!” he wrote.
In mid-June, Kai was among tens of thousands of attendees at Turning Point USA’s Leadership Summit event hosted by Charlie Kirk in Detroit, where she was photographed with former President Trump Don Jr. and his 15-year-old brother, Don III.
Trump will return to Detroit on Saturday with Vance to hold his first campaign rally as an official Republican candidate for 2024. The rally will be held indoors.
Kai’s other siblings are Tristan, Spencer and Khloe.
