Why Candace Cameron Bure Refuses to Promote ‘Follow Your Heart’ in Her Films

Actress and director Candace Cameron Bure said one of Hollywood's most iconic clichés not only offers bad advice, but is also unbiblical. The queens of Christmas movies made the remarks during a podcast conversation with fellow filmmaker Andy Irwin this month, where they discussed their work, inspirations and upcoming projects. Bure is appearing in two Great American Family films this holiday season. Christmas with fewer travelers and home sweet christmas. Neither, she says, includes lines that are common in countless Hollywood movies.
