"Why do you feel the need to share it with everyone?": Trump criticizes Netanyahu openly regarding Iran's nuclear weapons

Trump’s Frustrations with Netanyahu Exposed Before Meeting

President Donald Trump has recently voiced some of his concerns regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, just before a meeting set to take place at the White House.

The collaborative military operation by the U.S. and Israel against Iran has been ongoing for 151 days. Although Trump has shown interest in finding a resolution to the conflict, numerous hindrances remain on the journey to achieving peace.

During a recent interview, Trump noted, “Bibi doesn’t need to announce that. He’s telling me that to keep me engaged.” Netanyahu had previously discussed with Fox News potential remarks about a site believed to be linked to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Trump went on, saying, “We have the equivalent of the best technology. With our capabilities, we know what’s going on. But I heard Bibi’s announcement and thought, ‘Why hadn’t you informed me? Why do I have to share this information publicly?'”

He stated he is well aware of activities at the suspected nuclear site, describing it as “not a significant issue.” If Iran continues to disregard the peace negotiations, Trump indicated that actions could be taken to dismantle the alleged facility.

“We’ve successfully dealt with their nuclear sites, and without an agreement, we may need to handle Pickaxe as well,” he remarked. “If a deal isn’t reached, it will be relatively straightforward to act.”

The meeting between Trump and Netanyahu lasted around an hour, described as quite positive by observers. Netanyahu commented afterward on the successful partnership and shared objectives, specifically focused on preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

In other discussions, the president commented on stalled negotiations with Iran, specifically concerning differing views on nuclear weapon development. “We’ll find ourselves in an intense discussion, and they might claim, ‘We weren’t talking about nuclear,'” Trump expressed during the interview. “But that’s precisely the core of our talks, as they’ll never possess nuclear capabilities. They are aware of that. We’ve had some far-reaching dialogues.”

He reiterated his warning that military operations could resume against Iran if a consensus isn’t achieved.
