Why removing Biden cabinet members would be a stupid and futile move

Recently, we have begun to hear calls from Republican lawmakers and conservative commentators to remove Joe Biden's cabinet members. The most frequently targeted figure in Biden's cabinet is Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, who facilitates the arrival of millions of illegal aliens at the southern border, 85% of whom are denied entry. allowed. Mr. Biden and the Secretary of Homeland Security generously welcomed these foreign nationals, including suspected drug traffickers and terrorists, and provided them with transportation into the country.

It is clear why this Democratic administration, with the energetic cooperation of Mr. Mayorkas, supported this massive invasion. The Democratic Party aims to create a one-party state and will seek to enfranchise an influx of illegal aliens as soon as the opportunity allows.

Mr. Biden and Mr. Mayorkas deserve to be removed from office for such a flagrant violation of their oath to protect the people of this country. But that's unlikely to happen.

Notably, Republicans do not have the votes in Congress to proceed beyond a preliminary impeachment inquiry. Moreover, neither Biden's leadership (the nominal CEO's capacity to self-move may be questionable) nor Congressional Democrats are willing to fire Cabinet members they presumably support. I have no intention of cooperating. After all, the obvious end goal of allowing border control is to give their party permanent control over the federal government.

It was the same story when Republicans called for Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to resign after neither Austin nor Biden spoke up about the reasons for his recent absences. It has now been revealed that Austin was undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, but hid this fact from the public, leaving his office unattended while he was in the hospital. Republicans have argued that this amounts to a dereliction of duty, largely due to the government's sloppy management of international relations, given all the international crises we currently face.

What would they gain if these Republicans calling for his resignation had their way? Of course, that would never happen, right? Do these lawmakers really believe that the person who will replace Mr. Mayorkas and Mr. Austin is more to their liking? It is simply inconceivable that the new Homeland Security and Defense secretaries will be politically or operationally different from their successors.

The Biden administration will appoint Cabinet members based on election needs. Whoever replaces Mr. Mayorkas will have to practice the same deception as the person currently holding the job. That would be a prerequisite for appointment.

Austin has reached his current fame because he is helping to advance the party's identity politics, which appears to be a strong support for the Democratic Party's core voters. As we know, Austin was a black government official who was deeply committed to critical race theory and who had mandatedly imposed this theory on the military. If Austin leaves, his successor will likely need to fit a similar job description.

Republicans need to pay attention to the standards Democrats use to occupy cabinet and deputy cabinet positions. They use them to demonstrate virtue. And even if Republicans reject shaky nominees for deputy cabinet and judicial positions, Democrats believe they are still sending a message to those who prefer identity politics.

From their perspective, the perfect Secretary of Transportation is Pete Buttigieg, who we have now. He is an ostentatious gay rights advocate, and he has gone on record since 2019 as saying he regrets saying “all lives matter.” If Mayor Pete resigns, you can be sure that his replacement will not be a white, straight, aviation engineer.

It also seems unlikely that if the first foreign-born black lesbian to serve as Biden's press secretary resigns, she will be replaced by a white-bread normie. So is the gay rights-friendly ambassador to Hungary, who took up the post in apparent defiance of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's conservative government. And I still marvel at the quick wit of the normally clumsy Secretary of State in demanding that all American embassies display rainbow flags during Gay Pride Month.

The Biden administration's proudest boast is that 15% of its appointees identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or simply “queer.” This administration can also boast that the first openly transgender Assistant Secretary of Health, Rachel Levine, has been promoted to the rank of four-star admiral. The Biden administration's LGBTQ bragging rights were not earned by accident. Wokeness is what Democratic voters and the corporate media love.

If Republican political leaders are as disgusted as I am by this virtuous mismanagement, there is a way to banish it to the wilderness. Be careful to win important elections and ensure that Democrats are forced to minimize fraud as a path forward. If Republicans regain the presidency in November, they should not hesitate to replace weak Democratic leadership or abolish institutions weaponized by the left.
