The first presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump was painful to watch, but that had little to do with Trump's performance and a lot to do with Kamala and the ABC hosts.
“I've never seen so many lies in any debate, or even across multiple debates,” Glenn said. Blaze TV “The presenter was completely useless,” he added.
The two hosts repeatedly interrupted Trump to refute or “fact-check” his comments, but Kamala remained unscathed.
“She viewed Donald Trump with complete contempt. She couldn't even hide that,” Glenn continued. “I don't think it's going to change anybody's mind, overall. If you were voting for Donald Trump, you're going to continue to vote for Donald Trump.”
Kamala was constantly laughing, smiling and nodding condescendingly while Trump was speaking, which Glenn believes will appeal to less-informed voters who think “she's going to end all this division.”
“They're doing the exact same thing they did with Joe Biden: 'He's a moderate and he'll bring us back to normal.' That's what they're doing again, and I think it's a very effective tactic for stupid and ignorant people, and that's the campaign they're running,” Glenn said.

“It was a terrible production, but a very brave effort by the ABC hosts to push Kamala and give her as much of a chance as they could,” Gonzalez said, noting that Project 2025 was portrayed as a Trump policy, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
“There's no fact-checking of her anywhere on that,” she said. “She's saying that Trump would definitely sign a federal abortion ban, which is just ridiculous and laughable, because he's being attacked by the left for that and on the right for not being pro-life enough.”
Kamala also insisted he would not ban fracking, something he has said many times in the past.
“We ended up with a three-on-one attack,” Gonzalez said. “We started attacking each other's personalities.”
