Willie Robertson from 'Duck Dynasty' honors his late father Phil's legacy.

Willie Robertson honors his faith and the legacy of his late father, Phil Robertson, as the Robertson family gears up for the second season of *Duck Dynasty: The Revival*. The premiere will feature an emotional tribute to Phil, who passed away earlier this year, which feels, to Willie, almost heavenly in timing.

Willie shared that filming without his father has been quite emotional. However, he believes Phil would be proud to see his family continuing the legacy. “It’s sad, but I think he’d be happy,” Willie expressed. He’s proud they are carrying on with the show, which maintains a focus on faith and family values. There may not be as many young ‘Ducks’ as Phil would have wanted, but they are making efforts in that direction.

Phil, who founded the hunting business Duck Commander, died at the age of 79 after battling health challenges, including early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Willie mentioned the importance of showcasing joyful, healthy families on television, especially in today’s world.

“I think it’s crucial for the country to see healthy family dynamics and the joy that arises from them,” he conveyed, emphasizing that the new season aims to bring a wholesome essence back to TV.

Willie noted that they’ve had many people approach them expressing gratitude for maintaining their family values. Sitting together for meals and praying, even if others can’t mirror that, still resonates as a source of inspiration during difficult times.

Reflecting on the show, Willie pointed out that their core values of faith and family remain intact, which he believes is key for keeping their family united through fame and challenges. “The stronger our faith, the more it helps keep the family together,” he remarked.

Despite their hectic filming schedule, the Robertson family sticks to their Louisiana roots and makes family dinners a priority. Corey’s recent launch of a handbag line alongside her responsibilities as matriarch showcases their commitment to balancing work and family life.

Overall, Willie feels that their journey with *Duck Dynasty* has always been about something greater than individual fame, and the authenticity of their family interactions shines through in the series. “It’s not about being famous; it’s about what we stand for,” he concluded.

Season 2 of *Duck Dynasty: The Revival* is in production, with a premiere date expected soon. Meanwhile, all episodes from Season 1 can be found on Hulu.
