Hollywood star Barbra Streisand on Thursday clarified that the strong winds that are carrying wildfires across Los Angeles are “the result of climate change” and demanded that “coming governments do a better job”.
“I think these terrible winds are the strongest we've ever experienced, and a lot of that is due to climate change, and the next government needs to do a better job of addressing that,” Streisand said Thursday. I wrote about the left-wing echo chamber Bluesky in my post.

Streisand is not the only member of Hollywood's elite to make bizarre claims that the deadly Los Angeles wildfires are connected to “climate change.”
As reported by Breitbart News, Hollywood director Jim Jarmusch blames the raging fires on “climate deniers” and urges people to “wake up” and confuse “wake-up” with “negativity.” He demanded that people stop treating them as “things.”
“This climate crisis is being brought about by climate change deniers and despicable corporate greed,” Jarmusch declared Wednesday night, adding: Now say it's time to wake up. ”

But California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and other Democratic leaders are unprepared for Los Angeles' devastating wildfires, citing unrefilled reservoirs and DEI jobs. Some people criticize that there is no such thing.
As Breitbart News reported, the wildfire broke out Tuesday morning and spread rapidly due to strong winds, forcing residents to evacuate and causing historic destruction to homes. Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate.
Thursday marks the third day of devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
At an emergency news conference Tuesday, Governor Newsom comically thanked Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for her “absent” leadership while she was on a business trip to Africa.
As of this writing, there are five wildfires burning simultaneously in the Pacific Palisades, Eaton, Hearst, Lydia, and Kenneth areas, according to the report. calfireIt lists the Palisades, Eaton and Kenneth fires with zero containment.
Meanwhile, the Hearst Fire is 10% contained, and the Lydia Fire is 60% contained. To date, a total of 29,053 acres have been burned in the Los Angeles area and more than 5,000 structures have been destroyed.
Five people have also been confirmed dead, one of whom was identified Wednesday as 66-year-old Victor Shaw, who died trying to protect the home that had been in his family for nearly 55 years.
